Wholesale

For customers interested in buying 1/4, 1/2, or whole beef or hog:

Beef:

- These Choice Angus beef are raised in the Pacific Northwest. The animals are grass fed and grain-finished.
- A whole beef, on average weighs 700 lbs. Half and Quarter beef are available too!
- Beef lose between 35-40% of their hanging weight. A half a beef hanging at 350 lbs., will lose between 120-140 lbs.; the boneless meat you take home, will weigh around 210-230 lbs.
- The meat is then dry-aged two weeks or longer in our meat lockers.
- Our cutting instructions are on this web page, making the process easy and informative. Most customers keep their premium steaks (rib eyes, tenderloins, etc.), some roasts and stew meat and ground hamburger.
- Your beef is hot sealed in plastic (think industrial Saran Wrap) and wrapped in white freezer paper and frozen. Meat wrapped this way will have a freezer shelf life of up to two years.
- Your meat is packaged for your family, whether that’s for two or six people!
- We do require a $100 deposit to secure your beef and turnaround time, depending on the time of year, is around 3 weeks.
- Price fluctuation based on market price and the prices we quote are for the hanging weight; please contact us for a current beef price, 503-533-0624.

Hogs:

- We hand select top-quality, local hogs from Carlton Farms. They are all-natural, meaning no added antibiotics or growth hormones used in the raising of the animal.
- A whole hog, on average, weighs 200 lbs. Half hogs are available too.
- Hogs lose around 30% of their hanging weight. A half a hog hanging at 100 lbs., will lose around 30 lbs.; the boneless meat you take home, will weigh around 70 lbs.
- Our cutting instructions are on this web page, making the process easy and informative. Most customers keep their chops, roasts and ribs; most customers also have ground pork, breakfast sausage, and Italian sausage, smoked ham and smoked bacon made from their hog.
- Your pork is hot sealed in plastic (think industrial Saran Wrap) and wrapped in white freezer paper and frozen. Meat wrapped this way will have a freezer shelf life of up to two years.
- Your meat is packaged for your family, whether that’s for two or six people!
