Everybody needs a go-to marinade for steaks and other grillables! Here’s one of our favorite recipes that works well as a people-pleasing set of flavors that boost already good cuts on your summer grill.
Summer Steak Marinade
- 1/2 c. olive oil
- 1/3 c. soy sauce
- 1/3 c. freshly squeezed lemon juice (about 2-3 lemons, depending on size)
- 1/4 c. Worcestershire sauce
- 3 T. dried basil or mix of herbs of choice
- 1 1/2 T. garlic powder
- 1 1/2 T. dried parsley or 1/4 fresh, chopped finely
- 1 t. ground white pepper
1. Combine all in a blender and mix on high speed until combined.
2. Marinate steak or other meat. Use a leak-free plastic bag or place in container and turn at least once during marination time. Marinate 2- 8 hours or overnight. Smaller or thinner cuts require less time. Discard leftover marinade or bring to a boil before reusing or serving alongside.
